HOW TO APPLY MASKAD

The Sasaki Advanced Aesthetic Medical Center was selected to evaluate the benefits of the maskād® for a 30-minute application after skin care treatments and medical procedures such as chemical peels, Micro-Needling RF, and Fraxel®. SGAIS and IGAIS questionnaires and global photographs determined immediate benefits of decrease of pain, erythema, swelling, and puritus with additional soothing and calming effects to treatments. These salutary effects continued over a 6-week evaluation period resulting in safe and effective outcomes associated with less breakouts and faster recovery times. The pliability and breathability of the mask allows PRP to be in longer contact to the treatment skin for maximum non-activated release of their growth factors. We plan to incorporate this technology with other more aggressive procedures in my plastic surgical practice.

I have been using maskād® Professional Post Procedure Face Mask following aesthetic facial procedures in my office to evaluate the effectiveness of reducing overall downtime, redness, inflammation, pain and swelling. Our patients love MASKAD and have shared that within 5 minutes, they feel much more comfortable – the heat and pain go away. I also use MASKAD to deliver Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP) following microneedling and other ablative treatments. It cools and calms the skin while delivering topical ingredients into the open channels. I highly recommend MASKAD as part of a post-treatment protocol.
